When you use Sketchy Friends, we collect the following information:

• Account information: Your name and email address provided through Apple Sign-In. If you use “Hide My Email,” we only receive your relay address.
• Profile photo: If you choose to upload a profile photo, it is stored securely and used as a visual reference for AI-generated caricatures within the game.
• Game data: Prompts you write, votes you cast, and game session information.
• Device information: Basic device identifiers for analytics and app functionality.
• Purchase information: Subscription status and transaction identifiers (processed through Apple). We do not store your payment card details.
• Diagnostics: Crash logs, app performance data, and usage interaction data collected through Sentry for debugging and stability improvements.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Sketchy Friends game experience.
• To generate AI caricatures based on your profile photo and text prompts submitted by other players.
• To manage your account, subscriptions, and credit balance.
• To improve the app through aggregated, anonymized analytics.
• To moderate content and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. AI-Generated Content

Sketchy Friends uses third-party AI services (OpenAI and Google) to generate caricature images. When generating images, we send your profile photo and text prompts to these services. These services process the data according to their own privacy policies. Generated images are temporary and are not permanently stored after the game session ends.

4. Analytics & Diagnostics

We use Sentry to collect crash reports, performance metrics, and interaction breadcrumbs (such as screens visited and actions taken before an error occurs). This data is linked to your user account to help us diagnose and fix issues. Sentry processes this data according to its own privacy policy. We do not use this data for advertising or marketing purposes.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• AI service providers (OpenAI, Google) for image generation, as described above.
• Infrastructure providers (Supabase, Railway) for hosting and data storage.
• Apple for authentication and subscription payment processing.
• Sentry for crash reporting, performance monitoring, and diagnostics.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption in transit and at rest. Profile photos are stored in Supabase Storage. We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and data.
• Opt out of analytics tracking.

8. Children's Privacy

Sketchy Friends is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
